World Worble 3: All quiet on the Western Front.
The war on reason had its bloodiest day yet without casualties. Only innocent bystanders were injured as the two armies battled it out over a decisive hill and control over the moral high ground.
The satire gas was released but was so self absorbed that it was wasted on the enemy. Irony after irony fell upon the empty fields called the land without laughter. Wave after wave of irrational diverters were deployed by the enemy as the raised the indignant shields for protection. The shields were faulty and could only produce false indignation. Yet despite this being a battle for the highest moral ground it was being fought with the lowest common denominator in mind.
The nations of the world railed in horror as the final wave of stone walls were erected across the lines of denial. At the end of the nothing was left except the smoulder smell of a dead argument. The day was over and no one could see whether anyone had won.
Silence came the next day, and the day after that, and the following the message came out from the field that no major hostilities had been noticed. It was quiet, all quiet on the Western front.
Is the war over or is this the calm before the storm?
Perhaps it is time to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of a new day.

Only 4 names exist to make me fear going to Hell:
Rogers & Hammertein
Gilbert & Sulivan.
If Hell exists they will be played constantly there.
