The 30 Million Tonne Garbage Mountain

What does 30 million tonnes garbage look like?
It is pretty ugly.
Yet on the edge of Colombo City this environmental disaster has been created in just a few years. Now there is hardly enough room to store any more garbage.
2 companies have been contracted to manage the dump but have not been paid.
They refuse to pay the Rs 11 million bribe demanded of them by the politicians.
Now as the mountain builds up there are various health issues and the trapped methane gas has created the danger of explosion.
