Television the choice of the corporate powers to sell mass products to a nation. They do a lot of research and finally hone down the results to identify a key demographic. The Sunlight Soap Corp is huge multinational who are looking for that new horizon to expand into.
So the ad says almost everything about the expectation of the consumer. Why is it targeting, what is its message and why does it make life easier.

Despite the oddity of this ad washing machines were rare in Sri Lanka until recent times. It is still common today for people wash their clothes by a well with soap, plastic bucket and a flat stone.
