Slow Boat to Zimbabwe: Bid to Stop Ship of Weapons going to Mugabe.
There a ship laden with weapons setting sail for Zimbabwe. On board is said to be 3 million rounds of ammunition; 1500 Rocket-Propelled Grenades and 2500 Mortar Rounds. The opposition party has labeled this as the weapon that will be used by Mugabe to wage war on his own people.
Already the South African Court has refused permission for the ship to be unloaded at its ports or to allow the weapon to pass through its nation to be delivered to Zimbabwe. The ship has been force to move from its anchoring point off Durban. Angola who is an ally of the Mugabe regime and the next most obvious port has denied that the ship will be stopping at their harbor. A spokesman for the Angolan government has said that they ship has not even asked for permission to enter their waters. Zimbabwe is without any access to the sea and so will need the help of another nation to transport the weapons in.
In the meantime Church leaders in Zimbabwe are warning of a possible Genocide as the situation becomes more desperate. Human rights observers have also reported that camps have been set up in some areas where systematic violence and torture is routinely being carried out on large scale. They claim that the violence from the Mugabe Regime is to punish people for ‘Voting the Wrong Way.’ Post election violence according to opposition leader Tendi Biti has left 3000 people displace, 500 injured and 10 dead.
The US State department spokesman Tom Casey has said that US discourage the Chinese from sending arms to Zimbabwe and had also asked surrounding Africa Nation to prevent the ship from docking.
The only hope of stopping the arms comes from a report that the ship owners are considering returning the ship to China.

In Mugabe universe there are no innocents, just agents of Britain.

Thanks for your comments.
You are most likely correct.
The ship was last reported as heading in the direction of Angola.

But I think that the ship has already docked.
