Going for the Religious Jugular: And you say that you are not a Bigot.

Going for the Religious Jugular: And you say that you are not a Bigot.
What is going through the mind of a person who cannot debate without resorting to insults and cannot think without hate? Often such people are totally unaware of how obvious their seething hatred is. Everyone can see it but they are often too polite to mention it to the person. How do you strike up a conversation with such a person? “You know, your vomitus bile has been getting worse lately perhaps you should give it a rest,” a concerned friend might say. Then they would be forced to listen to hours of diatribes and chest thumping speeches about how the hate that is being nurtured inside is justified and excusable. No point trying to argue with hate from a rational viewpoint because hate cuts deeper than that. The tragic reality is that too often a person filled with hate is like a drug addict. Their opiate is hate and like an opiate it gives them a euphoric high as the poison slowly destroys what is inside. It requires no effort at all to hate, just cowardice and fear.
I am a lucky person. That is my viewpoint. Some people think that they can pass judgement on others and condemn them as human beings for what they think they are. Yet for some reason they completely forget about the content of a person’s character regardless of race, creed or colour. Instead they see something that is not human and needs to be destroyed. There are people who are blind and claim that that they can see and in this blindness they head straight towards any disaster that they cause. There is no satisfying some people until they have rivers stained with blood. I say these things because I know about these things and I deal daily with the results of such mindless hate.
I see no reason to kill another human or to even threaten people. I have never had to behave in such a manner and even when tempted to do so for a short term gain, I have found that half a thought more is half the solution. The funny thing about hate is that it comes from fear.
You cannot live with the people who have been affected by civil war without understanding what hate is. I understand hate because I have seen and watched as it takes lives and gives nothing but grief. I can understand nature killing but to see humans clambering to destroy another human being when there is already enough suffering in this world... You have to question the sanity of such people.
People who play the religious hate card do so to drive a wedge between people. They exploit fear and ignorance to drive people apart. There is no pleasantry in the motivation because it is merely a way of stomping down an enemy. Hate can make people do what no sane person should contemplate. Yet it is often rational people who want hate to fill every corner of their universe. Through the eyes of hate all humanity is up for question and all lives can be deemed subhuman. That is what hate can do to a person.
However, as I often do, I spend my time with people that I consider to be good. Life is short fragile and hangs by a thread. People are still people regardless of the race, creed or colour.
Race, Creed or Colour.
It is easy to exploit differences and to prey upon fear. I have no illusions about the courage of people. Very few of them have courage and less have moral courage. When you watch people gang up to bash a helpless victim you will often see them walk away with and congratulate themselves on their bravery. When people fail to act against cowardly attacks they do so out of their own fear. They know what they should do but being cowards they find reasons not to act.
We do not need to list out all the episodes in history where social predators look for divisions for them to exploit. Those occur all the time and still do today. We do need to understand that at the centre of hate is fear.
It is a shame to watch people throw their lives away on hate. They could be much, much more but instead they have sold out to the opiate of hate. They could actually put some effort into their own lives and talent. It seems a waste of a life.

No one get sucked into insignificant battles at the time.
They only become insignificant later.
