Bad week for YouTube as Scientology Lawyers go on the attack.
Wiki news has also reported that an organization called American Rights Counsel LLC has started legal proceedings to take down all 4000 anti-Scientology videos from YouTube.
YouTube became the centre piece of controversy when excerpts from an in house Scientology video featuring Tom Cruise caused embarrassment. This was followed by a campaign from the activist organisation called Anonymous that targeted Scientology in a number of videos.
“Wikinews made attempts to contact American Rights Counsel LLC for comment on the take-down notices, but was unable to obtain contact details for the alleged organisation.”
It is likely that American Rights Council LLC is a front group for Scientology but so far no one seems to know who they are despite the volume of copyright infringement notices that they have lodged.
Yet not everything has been going their way because it seems that Scientology has overstayed their welcome in France
AFP has reported that Scientology will be facing a French court on charges of mass fraud of it members. More details will follow when information becomes available.
Meanwhile Narconon which is a front group for Scientology has started advertising on commercial radio in Melbourne Australia selling themselves as professional drug addict councillors. If you are hearing the catch phrase 'GetoffDrugs dot com' then you are hearing their ad. Narconon is under direct control of Scientology and has been accused but cult experts of using its programs to deceive desperate people into joining the Church.
People who are expecting to be given help with their drug problem and respond to the advertisement may have no idea of its connection to Scientology.

After reading this I did a check on YouTube but all seems well so far.
However Cult watcher site Xenu.net are regularly being chopped off every time Youtube is served legal notice.
If this story is deleted you will know their reach.
