700 Billion Dollars divided by the population of the USA of 300 Million

That is: 700,000,000,000
divided by: 300,000,000

The answer is : 2333.333

That means every man woman and child has to folk up $2,333.33 to keep the economy afloat.


I would be pissed too.

No wonder they got nervous in passing the bill.

If you want to be a pirate then it appears that the Somali is the place to go. They have booming cottage industry of pirates which the government seems to be unable to stop. For last few years commercial ships have been captured and held ransom as they pass bye. Often people have been held for months as millions of dollars are demanded for the safe release of the crew. The growth in the crime has been blamed upon the paying ransoms in the millions by ship owners and insurance companies. In the last few years a ship that left from Australia loaded with mineral ore was also captured by pirates and held for ransom. According to the International Maritime Bureau 56 ships have been taken over by pirates since the start of this year, of which 13 ships and 300 hostages are still being held.

Yet in a current hostage drama there has been a twist of event that has made the world sit up and pay attention. A ship loaded with weapons heading for Kenya is suddenly in the centre of a ransom demand. The cargo is reported as having a cache of Rocket Propelled Grenade Launchers, Guns, Ammunition, Explosives and 33 Soviet-type T-72 Army Tanks. The pirates are said to be demanding $20 million.

The volatile cargo appears to have made some nation nervous as the send ships to region. The USS Howard is already shadowing and watching the vessel, Russia has dispatch missile destroyer called ‘Neustrashimy (Fearless)’ and two Malaysian vessels are heading to the waters. According to Russian media the ships 21 crew consists of Ukrainians, Russians and Latvians. The ships captain is said to have died due to high blood pressure.

In the meantime there has been serious controversy of where the cargo was ultimately destined. The Kenyan Government claims that they have papers to prove that it is part of their personal defence supplies, where as the US Navy claim that the cargo ultimate destination was to be Sudan. The head of the Mombasa-based Seafarers' Assistance Program Andrew Mwangura said, "According to our records, since October last year, there were four ships with the same cargo, the same material and the destination of the cargo was southern Sudan."

The Sudanese government denies that has purchased or received any military equipment in the last year. The war in southern Sudan is still continuing.

The weapon cargo is well hidden. Who were the destined for?


It has been described by International Maritime Bureau as the biggest surge in piracy on modern record. The ‘surge’ has occurred where the Indian Ocean connects to the Suez Canal and is the main shipping lane to Europe. There is report of any political motives in the piracy, just profiteering for some land based Warlords in Somalia.

I do not mind people disagreeing with my opinion, nor do I mind if people ignore them and I certainly do not mind people mentioning my site in their posts. This is because there is an unwritten caveat in doing so. The caveat means that I get to have a go back at what the person has to say and what motivates them to say so. If I think that they are misinformed I will say so and if I think that they are peddling an agenda for a cult of eternal nutters I will also say so. (Just as a minor note to a separate gutless wonder who thinks that I will respond to elephant pics: You only degrade yourself bozo.) Sorry I digress. Anyway since Real Crash wants to claim that I hold a bunch of views that will drag back to the 14 Century I think it is fair that I set the record straight.

Firstly I want to point out LaRouche’s opinion of the Beatles:

Yes, I can dig it man. We are all being subverted into liking the Beatles so that the British can take over. Why parade their song if their music so subversive? Never mind, I think that answer would prove as incomprehensible as last night’s episode of Dr Who.

I will address what I would call the catch cry of his post: “...we all are going back to the 14th century, bubonic plague, black death and all.”

Does he have a time machine to take us there or is he speaking metaphorically? I will be kind and assume that he is being metaphoric. In that case any talk of ‘bubonic plague, black death and all’ is just a hysterics. How is it that I am going to cause such a cataclysm? I get it. By not agreeing with the teachings of the LaRouche Cult I will inadvertently cause the downfall of civilization as we know it. I never knew that I had that kind of power. Then again in many cult members (and even some ex-cult members) the mentality of seeing a different opinion as dangerous is common. The inability to comprehend that people have a right to reject what they say is often beyond them.

We have a few links going off to the LaRouche website of all places where we are given a lesson in history, LaRouche style. If you like pseudo-history pumped out by a cult PR machine I would recommend that you read it. However if you find that historical stories without verifiable historical references is not you cup of tea then do not waste your time. To novice in critical reading it may seem impressive, even intellectual, but to those that can read and comprehend you find a lot of words and little evidence. Begging the question seems to be a regular occurrence in this delightful puff piece. Conclusion: LaRouche was the only person to understand that the Dark Ages were caused by a banking collapse. Yes, I can dig it man.

Yet we must also remember that the key principle of the LaRouche platform is a global financial crash. Hence his disciples will set up blog sites called Real Crash etc. To warn us all that ‘The End is Near.’ The financial end that is, where all the world economies collapse. Somehow is being brought on by the British Royal Family (who, if I am not mistaken, LaRouche says are the biggest drug dealers on the planet). He kind of lost me on the made up jargon. Cults love jargon because it helps them alienate people from society.

What a Week of Weak News

It is like there has been a drought of significance across the horizon as the wall of nothingness invades the wires. How can newspapers still have the same number of pages and be so much thinner at the same time. Did someone forget to pay the wages to all the reporters on the planet or are we just passing everything through a big USA filter. Not that I should complain. I am incredibly fascinated by the micro-issues of 6% of the world’s population and I find that the other 94% were getting swollen headed anyway. Yet if daily dose of news is correct, then that 94% disappears from time to time

Every story needs a map.

After a disaster in negotiations the North Korea's have decided to pull out of any agreement to dismantle their Nuclear Power Plant. Instead they have expelled the UN inspectors and declared that would be firing up a reactor that they had previously agreed to dismantle. Video equipment put in place to independently monitor the situation has been switched off and the seals to all the spent fuel rod have apparently been broken. Korea has been reported as saying that they want to go it alone and have even said that they do not care whether they are removed from the USA list of States that Sponsor Terrorism

How like a god...

Having realized that I am not in fact God the possibility of being a god might seem more attractive. That way I do not get blamed for all the problems that occur. If war occurs, it was the fault of mars. I a ship sinks, it was Poseidon or Neptune. If my taxes are overdue then Zeus has been slacking off again. Probably too busy chasing mortal women for some hot lovin and spreading of his godly seed. Hercules must have been one hard child support settlement. So there are many advantages to being one of many gods because I get to duck shove responsibility to someone else

I remember years ago when a friend came to Australia for the first time he came with me when I went to vote in a federal election. It was the first time he had actually seen a polling booth without the mandatory guard armed with a machine gun. Elections are a funny affair in other countries as they have their party hacks taking things a little too seriously. Or as my wife’s uncle explained to me, 'these Australian elections are just not the same deal' as he was used to. There you have the usual fights, a few people being shot and the odd bomb blast to mark the event. You may not want to vote but you certainly know that one is on

I think that I am need of salvation. Not the salvation man finding that he has become the essence of what he hates but salvation to a cause that is both socially acceptable and ubiquitous enough to suit all situations. I agree that perhaps I should have checked every other person on the planet before making a life choice and for that matter being born. Since CERN did not end the world today I am able to write this.

You have to wonder sometimes whether people do live a sheltered bedroom based existence when they obviously cannot imagine people who are not destroyed by their petty little taunts. Sometimes I have heard people say that words can kill or be careful because you could be mentally scared by what this person has to say to you. To which I think to myself, has there suddenly been the emergence of some telepathic super being?
